The Stars of every Pond
No doubt: waterlilies are the stars of every pond. There are suitable varieties for ponds of every size. You can grow the dwarf nordic waterlily Nymphaea tetragono in a bowl with just 10 cms of water, while a giant like 'Colonel J.A. Welch' will do best in water that is as deep as three meters.
There is variety no only in size. For something new try out tropical waterlilies. In Central Europe they do best in the conservatory and they cause a lot of admiration with their brilliant colours – there are even blue and violet varieties among the tropical waterlilies.
