(Latour-Marliac 1879) The first and still the only dwarf yellow waterlily. It is a cross of the Nordic Waterlily and the Mexican Waterlily. The flowers are pale yellow, very small and slightly fragrant. The pads are nicely mottled and very showy. If planted where the water warms up well it is unbelievable floriferous. Unfortunatelly not fully hardy, its rhizomes have to be protected from frost. If planted 30 cm deep it usualy survives here. During summer there is hardly a better variety for planting in a tub, but during winter the tub has to be kept without frost.
