The common fleabae is a very robust and undemanding perennial, it will even tolerate some salt in the soil. Yet it becomes rarer every year. The reason being that still wetlands are drained or changed into fields for biogas plants. In the garden you can use it in more natural situation, also in ordinary garden soil. It flowers in summer in yellow.
