(J.B. Marliac 1913) Marliac was especially proud of this variety so he named it after the location of his nursery `Glory of Le-Temple-sur-Lot`. For long it was the most double hardy waterlily (today 'Lilypons' is as double) and many experts think of it as the most beautiful hardy waterlily. Its flowers are pale pink. It is not often available in nurseries. There are two reasons for this: it isn`t photogenic. By unknown reasons the flower appears on pictures always somewhat untidy, although it isn`t in real life. It is also a odorata-hybrid and needs time and space to establish before it can perform well. It grows best if kept at only 30 cm water depth.
