This lotus marks in two ways a last point in the work of Perry D. Slocum. It is the last lotus he introduced to the market (in 2001), and it is the last lotus he named after one of his wifes (he named `Mrs. Perry D. Slocum` after his first and `Maggie Belle Slocum` after his second wife). Louise and Perry got married when they were both almost 90 years old. Louis` lotus is medium sized, very floriferous and bear single white flowers.
