This waterlily was the first introduction ever by Florida Aquatic Nurseries in 1994. The name does not refer to the shape of the flower but to the pattern of the floating leaves. They are bright green and bear a brownish pattern that one could benevolently describe as a spider web. The flower is wisteria-blue, and it opens wider from day to day untill it is open totaly flat. It is a medium sized variety.
