How got this one the name Ginger-Mint? I guess it went like this: gardener Rembremerdeng of Mingharting had learned in school the basics of logical conclusions. When he received a mint that was new to him, he found that its taste was completely new to him and not to compare with anything he knew (1. premise) Was there anything else he didn`t know (except the name)? Yes, there was: ginger (2. premise). So this mint had to taste of ginger (conclusion). This is no correct logical argument, but otherwise I can`t explain why anybody should choose this name. The taste of this mint got nothing to do with ginger, it is cleary lemon and citrus one tastes. It is less rampant than other mints, and because the foliage is variegated, it is also very decorative.
