(Kirk Strawn 1993) If the name of a waterliy is well choosen, it will speak for itself and it is unnecessary to describe the case. Such is the case here: `Pink Peony`- and it is a very large and very double (some would even call it fat) `peony` that we spot here. The pink flowers and the light green pads make a wonderfull contrast. It is very fragrant and the flowers are held high above the water surface, creating the impression of a tropical waterlily. Since it is an odorata-hybrid, it needs space (best plant it into a 65-liter-barrel) and time to develope to its best performance. It`s worth to grant it with both.
