This plant has been with us as far as I can think back. Nobody knows who planted it first, probably it dwelled here before us. It is a true cottage garden flower. Pretty, merry, carefree and also with some pharmaceutical power. During summer it produces huge amounts of tiny `daisy` flower. The have about the size of a shirt button, and that`s the reason why the plant is called here `Hemmatknöpfli`(= `shirt button). Ìt is best kept in the vegetable patch for it loves to stroll through the garden. It is a shortlived plant, but it selfseeds where it finds open ground.
