This is the most common daylily in the world, for it is largely grown in fields. In its home China it is consider a vegetable, the part that is eaten in this case are the flowers. We haven`t tried it, yet. To us it is a pretty yellow daylily that is one of the first in the season to bloom. In the garden it likes a spot with ample moisture and a few years to develope into a large clump.
