Just a few years ago New-Zealand-Hamp was a very, very unusual tub plant in Europe. It became somewhat fashionable meanwhile but that is absolutely nothing compared to the situation in the UK. There New-Zealand-Hamp is hardy almost everywhere and landscapers are just crazy about it. As a result hybrids are now available in the UK. We grow our plants for this Mix from seed that we receive from a British first class collection of named hybrids. Most of our seedlings will be green, with a touch of blue or yellow. A few will have reddish or even red leaves and very few will be variegated. In Central Europe New-Zealand-Hamp is best grown a tub plant, in milder regions it is worth a try in the garden.
