(P.D. Slocum 1990) This variety received its name from the visitors at Perrys Water Gardens. Who ever saw it for the first time said `Wow!`. The colour is obviously what impresses most in this waterlily. It is a shade of purple that is hardly to be found outside the Vatican. The flowers are quite double bowl and have a very pleasant fragrance. They are suitable as cut flowers. It is unfortunatelly a mediocre bloomer. Suitable for medium to large ponds.
